ELECTION INFORMATION

Site Council elections are held each fall. Each year, parent volunteer positions (2-year terms) and teacher representative positions will be open for a general election. Please watch our regular school communications for election planning or feel free to contact Lorre Heyes.

ROLE OF SITE COUNCIL

 
ED Code 52852 requires the establishment of an SSC for schools receiving state and/or federal funds. The SSC is a group of elected people that represent parents, certificated & classified staff, and administration.
 
- Develop, approve, and monitor School Achievement Plan (SPSA) including expenditures to meet goals.
 
- Approve SARC (School Accountability Report Card
 
-Develop, approve, and monitor the School Safety Plan
 
-Approve school VAPA funding
